Hope you guys can help me with this troublesome query.. how the heck do you get direct access to this light, so you can remove it via it's 3 fixing screws?

I've got the replacement light for the existing broken one, but I just don't know and can't find out what to remove to do this?

Surely someone out there has done this? I live in hope.

I have never worked on a 2 series but would imagine like the X3 and X5 internal trims around the rear window have to come off for access or maybe like the X5 the spoiler top fixings can be accessed from outside 

I would check www.realoem.com to see how the trim parts are fitted
