Two baked beans tins and about three feet of string should do it

... Oh, and you should wear a ginger wig to help pair them !!!

Hi all,

I was reading through old posts on this topic regarding paring iPhones with Bluetooth. I'm having a nightmare getting this activated. I've done all the procedure required and when I pick up the BMW BT request I click on join and type in my passkey, however its not allowing me to join, I have removed all the old users and according to one of the posts you need to use 6 digits for the iphone passkey which I done and still no joy. Fecking nightmare! Any advice to offer??

2006 325xi.....can pair Moto Photon Q phone to car, works well, but can't get the car to accept the !@#$% Phone Book from the cell phone. Any one have any (clean, viable) recommendations re: how to fix this issue?

The web has a ton of blogs on this topic but with a couple hundred "solutions". After trying the first 20 or so, I gave up.

HELP MISTER WIZARD!!!

Enter the phone function on the car and set it to search.

Turn the phone bluetooth on and search as well.

When they find each other, one will ask you to enter a code - just make one up 1234 will do.

Enter the same code on the other device.

Bob should be your uncle.

Without looking at the car I can't remember the exact menu options but, that's pretty much how it works!

You need to search for your phone on the bluetooth device at the same time as searching for devices on your phone, and they should find each other, like a shitey rom com

you can make BT pair. and, search your cell and connect it . if they can not pair successfully. you can try another phone. if they still cannnot. maybe the bt is fault .
