Having a problem with my airbag light flashing on and off, iv bought one of them bypass units you can buy but before wiring that in how hard is it to just remove the bulb?

I've never done this on a BMW, but had imense amount of hassel with ABS on my Tigra..

Ended up removing the bulb for MOT...wasn't that difficult, but i don't know for sure how to take bm dash apart

I think this is a safety issue and should not be taken lightly...

The most common fault is the drivers or passenger seat pad sensor, have a fiddle at the wiring under each seat to see if the light goes out...

Personally I wouldn't remove the bulb.

I would use the bypass mod only for MOT or if I were selling it...

Just my thoughts guys ;)

not sure if im correct here, but i think if you stick some tape over were the light is for the mot they cant remove it, its a visual check.

i may be completly wrong there though

You could stick a small "M" emblem over it to make it look natural !!!!
