Having recently returned to BMW from Land Rover, VW etc. my new shiny 320d ED is great performer. I got 66 mpg on the first run ! Loads of power when needed without the fuel gauge moving at all. The cabin is 'classic' but feels solid ( I had a brand new Astra on loan and you couldn't possibly compare the engineering, drive and power ).

Was nervous about boot space coma red to the A4 Audi but turns out it swallows buggy, bags, boxes and more without a problem.

I am 6'1" and the rear headroom is fine, not loads of extra room but I am not bending my neck or anything. Highly recommend it. I have a 320d M3 on load for 2 days and despite the great added power it feels rough compared to the ED and the range counter literally counts down as you accelerate !
