Hi there, been a while since i posted anything, been busy at work and problems with the tyre configuration on my 330ci.

Bought the car from a local dealer who said he would put 3 new tyres on however i picked up a nail in 1 front tyre so took it to a tyre centre who told me

A. all the tyres are used and just legal

B. the rear tyres are run flats, fronts are normals which is a no no

Complained to dealer that the tyres were used and not new like he said, his reply "their new used tyres" (work that one out)

Does anyone know if a 330ci can safely run on normals at front-run flats at rear. Tried 2 mot centres who sat its ok but tyre centre says it affects handling.

Apart from this minor problem I am having great fun on the roads, the more I drive it the more I love it. Had a laugh with this sad golf gti driver at a round about, just dropped down a gear foot down and I was gone(and they were kissing my butt).

Im no expert at all with run flats, b imo i cant see a problem with having them on the rear, as long as they aint on sides if you get my drift.

I'd still go back again and demand 3 'new' tyres mate.

Oh and Golf GTi drivers....aint it great when you laugh in their face lol...

Drop it, Boot it, little tail flick and your off lol...

cant see it being a probler either, why didnt you check them when you got it though? lesson taught there :P

a tyre centre would say it affects it though, they want you to buy new tyres.

Good point

Lol at GTI drivers my mate has a 8v 2.0 golf GTI and I put him to shame when out on fast roads
