I'm am sorry if I am doing this incorrectly but I have searched and not found anything related to this but I am still learning all of this.
Does anyone know about the yellow airbag/ seat belt connector under the driver’s seat? I am sure the previous owner has changed this but I am wondering if anyone has seen this before? If so, should I remove the butt connectors and solder the wires? Should the wires be twisted all the way to the yellow connector? Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
JayMe
Hi - I have a 2007 1.6L Petrol 1 series and it has wire connectors in the boot near the battery but I don't know what they are meant to connect to. Are they just spare or is there a part missing?
The car currently not starting but we think it is a BCM fault but just wanted to know what the cables in the boot are meant for.
Any help would be greatly appreciated be gratefully appreciated as we can't read the fault codes as we think the BCM is faulty and the car won't idle properly but there might be some other issue.
Regards Andrew
Morning Marvin
You need a Diagnostic Scan with a BMW capable system
, I assume that when the Footwell control module and and Battery were replaced they were correctly registered to your chassis ? Has your Mechanic checked the starter solenoid ? much cheaper than a starter
Hope this helps
