Hey Guys,

Hope you can help. I have identified a number of these hoses in my engine with odd looking jubilee-like clips. How do you remove them? Now, I have actually removed one but by using brute force and tugging on it. Surely I'm doing it wrong :S How do you release the metal clip and not damage the hose? I want to re-use the hose (when I put the engine back together) and the one I've removed looks knackered after my tug-o-war match with it resulting in me winning.

Ahhhh I thought so! I just squeezed them with pliers :D

Is it okay to just PULLLL them off? coz they are tough :P When I pop it back on, should I just use a standard jubilee clip to hold it on? is that okay?

Cheers,

Daz

A standard jubilee clip will be fine mate.

I wouldnt just tug away, pipes are more expensive than clips!
