hi all i have recently got a new ecu (off ebay) for my e46 323 that comes with key

i came to a understanding that i just cant plug and play the ecu due to the imobiliser in the key or am i wrong

if im right is it possible to replace the chip in my key with the one that came with the ecu dont know if this is wrote very well but i hope you can understand it

But notice the dashboard milage, if it appears to have a "Dot/decimal point" there, then it does not match the car !

TBH they should have informed you that it may need programming/matching to the car by the stealers !!
