Right i know this might sound a little strange but i am thinking of getting 2 red neon strips in my side skirts not for driving around in because i am not 17, just for when i lock and unlock the car so they only come on then......what do you guys reckon?

i think you need to stop watching the fast and furious one!!!

cool idea but cool isnt a cool word! if that makes sense, maybe still drunk from santa pod though

I had blue ones under my ford excursion side steps they came on with interior lights when door was opened .

Mind you it also had about five miles of fibre optic lights and 21" tv in the back

Not a fan of neon lights.. Defo not on a BMW but I can see where your coming from on that, if you got more money an sense do it!! If it looks !Removed! after just take them off

Working with Computers I pretty much have unlimited supply of cold cathodes to my disposal but I wouldn't dream of putting them anywhere near my motors. Now not everything needs to be 17yr old boy racer sh*t if you pull it off in the right way but I just don't think BMW stand for that sort of thing. If you had a Civic or Celica than MAYBE, and even than its such a big maybe, I wouldn't.

If you want a 'party piece', Be a complete tw*t and install a Dixie-Horn like what im considering =D JUSTTTT to push assh*le to the next level :P

Tbh I like that idea, nothing too ott, nice flash when you do the door locks only problem is you would have to put them on the indicator wiring which will make them flash every time you indicate.....best off putting them on the interior lighting loom and should work nicely

This idea is actually growing on me, this could work on the right car.

Nice if they dimmed with the interior lights.
