BMW3 Series

BMW E30 318 Motorsport Design Edition convertible only 200 made, finished in Neon Blue with contrasting Neon Blue specially trimmed Recaro front seats complimented with M/TEC leather steering wheel, M/TEC leather gear knob. Registered in October 1992, this one of the last of the E30’s having only done 97,700 miles with a huge history file and many previous MOT’s to verify this low mileage. The specification also includes BBS wheels with virtually new tyres, all around electric windows, remote central locking, electric mirrors, front & rear headrests, electric roof, Pioneer face-off CD player, Bosch Autoflex aerial, full tool kit, new exhaust. Circa £800 spent on full service with additional works carried out. It is in good condition for year, the roof is good with no rips or tears. This is a great example of a classic BMW convertible in original standard specification even wearing the supplying dealer numberplates. Thes are becoming very hard to find now…… MOT’d August 2011 and all ready for the summer.

      Engine running weird when hot

      Hello everyone, got a 116i m sport n43b20a. Had it for about 3 months and soon after buying noticed a wierd problem. When cold the car would run perfectly, however when warm or stuck in traffic you could feel it become a little bit rough, sort of a banging feel from the engine which you can feel through the car. When doing this, when driving it runs perfectly. However when you attempt to pull away, the car will drop to around 400rpm and pull away a bit bouncy, having to give it more accelerator to prevent it from stalling, whenever in reverse it does this and normally leads to stalling. Over the last 3 months it hasn’t gotten worse but it does the pulling away thing when it is cold now. Had a service >1k miles ago with plugs. Also had it smoke tested and no signs of any leaks. Does anyone have any advice or had a similar story? Cars on 161k Thanks

      2008 E61 start issue

      Looking for some help. 2008 BMW E61. 520d Car died and wouldn’t restart. Issue looks to be throttle body however have replaced that and same issue just cranks. Battery went flat with all the cranking and checking around. then worked and started after charging. Drove 20 miles or so. Thought all fixed, next morning. Started and died like before. Now won’t start. But if throttle body is unplugged it’s starts and drives. HELP

      Morning Carole Welcome to the Forum This is a new one I guess you have tried all the menus in settings on your iDrive? Then as your in a 22 model have you asked your Dealer for help I know it doesn't always work but worth a try Good Luck with the search Dave

      I want my backup camera display on my 2022 X5 to cover the entire screen. How do I get rid of that partial camera display on the far right. It's a hindrance to human and vehicular traffic.
