Hi all, I bought an X3 2 weeks ago under the impression it had run flat tyres. I also took out tyre insurance. I got a flat at the weekend. the garage now tell me I don't have run flat tyres, and indeed I can't have run flat tyres, also because my tyres aren't 'standard' there will be an extra cost.

Can anyone tell me if a BMW X3 3.0 SD M Sport can not have run flat tyres or am I being taken for a fool?

Thanks.

Firstly welcome mate.

Any car car have non run flat tyres, although I think yours came with them form new.

Its as simple as changing a tyre to change them from runflats to normal.

As above... You may have rims that are adapted for "Run-Flats" but call them idiots as you can introduce standard tyres anyway because they are compatible... Go for standard ones Jayne B)... The ride will be better aswell !
