I am a new member about to purchase a 2003 330d auto 184 bhp. I am 64 yrs so insurance quotes are favourable. However I would like to remap 28bhp as much for economy as anything else. Can any one recommend an insurance company who would not penalise me for such a modification.

Get a "Economy Map" certificate off the mech that does the re-map, that might work !
