Hi,

The other day, the strangest thing happened.

On pulling away, I noticed that none of the guages on my X5 were working, petrol, rev counter, speedo etc. The car drove normally. I pulled over switched off the engine, then restarted the car and everything worked as normal.

Has anyone ever experienced the same issue?

Ganna be electrical. On a car of my age, it would be caused by the fuse blowing but your one reviving itself confuggles me.
