M3 Smg Down Shift Problem

I jus recently purchased an E46 M3 SMG and I notice that when I down shift and my rpm's get around 2k I feel a vibration in the car and can hear a slight rattle from the outside. Does anybody know what this is?

    Well it wasnt a down shift problem, it was my exhaust gaskets and I had them replaced now theres no vibrations.
