FINALLY, bought a replacement panel filter for my 7, a Pipercross with lifetime guarantee !!

It was the better option @ 37 quid as opposed to a £350+ Induction kit :blink:

Now the MAF should be frightened as it probably knows that it is next on the "Items to Sort" list !! :rolleyes:

Nothing much to separate them mate (Panel Filters), but if I had the spare cash I wouldn't get a Pipercoss or K&N Induction kit !!

      Sorry, I can’t open any files… but mine will ding if the temperature is below 5’ as a warning of ice. Maybe it’s set to 10’ in yours?? just a thought

      Hi i have BMW x1 f48 2018 in cold weather up to 10 deq two or three minutes after open the door of the car a noise appears does not matter if engine is on or still off the noise appears for 10 or 20 seconds and disappears I am attaching a recording to give you an idea what noise I mean.       Thank you, Dave, this is just the sort of advice that I'm after and you have summed up the symptom perfectly. I've just been into Halliwell Jones (BMW North Wales) and they're looking for £156 per hour for a diagnosis! So any advice is welcome.
