Hello

i am looking at buying an x5 2005-2006 3.0d sport

got around 15K to spend

i have had a bmw 525d m sport before but due to buying my first house it had to go and i have missed it every day

i have seen one

sliver, all the toys with 51K on the clock with a tracker fitted from a dealer 1 owner and full BMW service

i see all sorts of posts about MPG and really need to know everyones view is

also is there anything else i need to check ???

hi mate with 15k you should be looking at getting a nice one just check all the points listed in early posts

as for deisel or petrol im a petrol head and would go for petrol all day long i might get a couple of mpg less but petrol is about 10p per litre cheaper where i live :)

i am in essex myself and both are about the same really

i am quite lucky that my company will pay for any fuel i use which put it this way they pay quite a lot lol

but if i have a quite week then i will need to know how much i will get from a tank

my 5 series i had i use to get about 500 per tank but the car never really got warm as i only drove about 2 miles every morning now i am driving 30 each way to office then could be uk wide if not in the office

Hi mate from the pic it looks like a nice clean car

But I'm gonna be honest and give my personal opinion I'm not keen on silver with black and there is something I'm not sure about the deisel I think the petrol 4.6is just looks a lot nicer and when I think I paid 5k less than what this is up for on a 53 plate

But if your looking for a silver diesel with low milage it's a very nice example of what I think is a lovely car
