Every year, 1.3 million people are killed and 50 million injured on the world’s roads. Carmakers are racing to create a vehicle that will never crash, but can it be done and will drivers accept a computer that overrides their driving? Would you let a computer override you at the wheel?

Yes, but only in adverse weather conditions... At all times, the driver should be driving "within" their own capabilities !

yes its a good idea but surely it is just encouraging lazy driving? if they know they wont crash then people wont pay attention to whats going on around them. theres enough drivers out there that dont know they are driving in the middle lane or they've had their for lights on for the last 6 WEEKS so we certainly dont need anymore!

if it only cuts in in extreme circumstances then i guess its a good idea though
