Engine Breather

Recommended Posts

hi,new to this form.

the question i would like to know is,i am about to change my x5 air filter and replace it with a performance filter,i know about the engine breather and have replaced this with every oil change i have done.

it is the loo type filter ( blue roll type )i want to get rid of this filter as i am replacing the air filter with a performane one.

will the upgraided vortex filter supplyed in later models fit my x5.

if it does it would make sence to put one of these new vortex filters in my x5,as the perfomance filter and this new vortex, would give me a longer service intervil with these two parts.

rather than change out the normal air filter and this blue filter ( loo filter )every 8,9000 miles, and it is a pain to get to both of them

regards scott.
