I'm slowly starting to want Angel Eyes.. But with the new laws being introduced to MOT's regarding HID's, does anyone know any more about this? Or how it would affect me if I bought some? Also does anyone with an E36 have angel eyes and a pic for meee? Thanks!

If they are white and NOT blue or any other colour for that matter, you will be ok !

I think so?! LOL! I don't really know much about angel eyes if im completely honest. I'm still new to all this bmw language.. I'm used too Jap cars!

If they are rings, they are an addition, so can be turned off, so will pass an MOT mate.

Post some pics up of what you have seen and we will be better help.

On an E36 they will be an additional kit that you fit to the current headlight units.

Wire them to sidelights and they will be perfectly legal, as long as they aint blue i think.

LOL no ones perfect, you wont look back now you have a BMW, The HID law is for a very good reason, they have caused accident and they tend to be installed by idiots who believe taking a woman on a date is a Burger King.

E36 Angel Eyes their are thousands of Kits out there, Personally i would find one that can be built into your current head lamp units(the front casing just unclips), after market head lamp units tend to be of "interesting" quailty.

Okay well I have found some on eBay that apparently just slot into my current headlights. But they seem far too cheap?! 30 squids for the whole thing?

I've heard the hella ones are good but for £300 quid?! I'd rather stick with what I've got! I can't post a link up as I'm on my iPhone bit here's the item number.. 270914038054

Ian, do they sound alright though? And everything I need is included? Thank you for the links, I understand it a little better now :)

without personally using them, I cannot comment. However they only have 5 negative feedback regarding these in the last year, only one of them was about the product itself and they have sold 11 units this month alone, as with all after market bits, take time and care to fit them and you should be onto a winner.

Either way pay by pay pal and if your not happy the pay pal scammer(sorry i mean ebay buyer protection) will refund you.

Okay sounds good to me. I think I'll go with this one then. A friend of mine owns a workshop so I'll ask him to fit them for me and shall update you soon! :)
