Bmw 320D M Sport Reverse Lights And Passenger Mirror Active When Not In Reverse

Hi,

I'm Andy and i'm new to the site, i have just bought a bmw 320d m sport convertable and when i take the car out of reverse the passenger wing mirror will go back to the nornal position then tilt back to the reverse position again and the reverse lights come back on without it being in reverse!

Has anyone else had any issue's like this, if so can you shed any light on what this could be. Also the switch to adjust the mirrorr's on my drivers side door does'nt work either so not sure if this has anything to do with it?

Could (or could not) be a faulty switch-pack, try pulling the connectors off and re-plug, sometimes fixes questionable connections... Move the mirror action button to the left and see if this stops it !

Don't know about your reversing lights but moving the mirror switch towards the drivers mirror will stop the passenger mirror moving in reverse. I only use mine if im reversing near a curb

thanks for your help i understand about the switch to the left stops the tilting but not mine!! i assume its the switch!

Sorry I checked today and switch to the left is correct.
