So I've bought some new gaiters for my car and I admit, I'm too scared to fit them LOL! I've tried to get my current ones off and had no luck so far so googled it and other forums have made comments about gaining black eyes and broken noses?! I know that apparently I need to "straddle" the centre console and pull but I'm not up for an injury.. Any ideas?

The gear knob is just a case of pull it up frikkin hard with a bit of a twist, the handbrake is also pull and twist....all should be well :)

p.s. just make sure your face is out the way ;)

if similar to my old merc they may be glued at the bottom as well, so may need little screw driver to lift off gaiter..

Nope :( I think I'm gonna have to ask my dad to yank it. If he can't do it then god knows, he's not exactly small lol.
