Hi Everyone !

Joining this club a little late.. I got my first beamer although I bought it in Oct 2011 was finally delivered to me in Dec 2011.

It is a Space grey X3 28i...(Canadian model)...driving is a pleasure but little disappointed with little features which are missing in the Canadian version..

      X1 2024 Recall pillar problem

      Received a call from the dealer this week, car has been cleared and I can come and collect it. Dealer gave me a pile of BMW goodies and BMW were left with a large hire car bill for the 7 1/2 weeks they have had my car.

      X3 Exhaust gas cooler replacement Recall

      Hi Ian Welcome to the Forum I think I would be writing to the Service Director with a copy to BMW Customer Services UK The EGR Cooler should have had nothing to do with the Speedo or your Bluetooth they have a Duty of Care while your car is in their workshop. As the Digital Speedo and Bluetooth were operating when it went in they should be when it came out The only thing I can think is they disconected some thing that didn't need disconnecting which is a worry as it would indicate a level of misunderstanding or even incompetence Dave

      filter change recomendations

      Hi Paul I would check the Cabin Filters mine on the E70 were damp and as a result smelly. Air Filter should be fine with a hoover as the miles are so low My Milage is higher than yours between 4 to 6k so I oil and filter change annually Dave

      filter change recomendations

      HI all, is there a recommended change out period for air filter and Pollen filters on the 6 series, E64. Currently air filter and cabin pollen filters are 2023. Any advice or thoughts gratefully received. Car does about 3.5K miles per annum.

      X3 Exhaust gas cooler replacement Recall

      I have just got my X3 back from dealership and both my digital Speedo and my Bluetooth are not working.when I asked about Speedo, I got told it is because bmw also carry out an upgrade when replacing EGC and that could be the problem and they would have to speak to warranty regarding if they can repair it.Now,when I asked about my Bluetooth they said that because it was not a bmw fitted Bluetooth and it was after market it was nothing to do with them it’s KUFATEC FISON and I have never had any problems in the 7 years I have owned the car. Has anyone experienced the same problems
