Birmingham and surounding areas start location for trip to kent 14th april

8 a.m Hilton Park services on m6 southbound post code wv11 2at

9 am / 9.15 Watford Gap services m1 southbound post code nn6 7uz

11 am ish arrive at meet in Gravesend postcode DA12 2RS

Me and Gav will be at Hilton Park services on m6 southbound at 7.45 leaving at 8 am for those who want to meet up and convoy down to Kent

Anyone who wants to join are welcome to but we are leaving at 8 am sharp to get to Watford gap at 9 am to meet up with ppl who are coming down the m1. So if you guys n gals that are coming down from the north want to meet at Watford Gap at 9 am feel free to meet us brummy lot there .

If anyone from the north wants to post a start point from that side post the details and pm gav so he can pin it to the meet page.

My number is 07719627647 if ppl from the west side want more details or would like to join from different places on the way down and want to know where about we are.

      SLIPPING CLUTCH

      Hi Dave, I fitted one of the sensors on the rear but it has made no effect as the light is still there, I will fit the other sensor tomorrow and see how it goes then. You mention the disconnect the battery, is there any pattern to this ? is it both leads or just the negative lead? cheers Paneuro.

      105C thermostat replacement

      Not sure what engine your running but there should be a Temp sensor in the Hose from the Rad to the water pump then there should be a Temp sensor in the housing for the Thermostat Both are shown in realoem for the 3.5 V8 I thought the V8 was the only one with dual use sensor on the Thermostat housing but stand to be corrected Dave

      105C thermostat replacement

      I have checked realoem and it gives me no temperature sensor option , which is strange. Also what I did was to remove the map thermostat and disconnected the resistance heating that is inside the thermostat and replace it with a 88C from an x5. Nothing else has been changed. The strange thing is that it run like that for 3 weeks in August. When I start the car last week the temperature dial was going to max before dropping to normal value. And that happened only when cold. When warm the dial was showing the right temp. I also saw that the map for the thermostat was engaged when the car was running cold which made me think that there may be a connection between the thermostat dial and the map thermostat not being connected.
