My father-in-law is looking to sell his 325i Touring registered April '89 and I wondered if anyone out there could offer advice on a realistic asking price for it. We aren't sure whether it is the kind of car wanted by collectors or whether selling for scrap/parts is the answer ? If it is its a real shame as its in excellent condition, has full servidce history and has done 96k miles.

Any help or advice is really appreciated !!

Thanks,

Chris

No mot,not alot however good examples may not be worth an awlful lot there are a lot of e30 fans around,auto/manual effects the price. See some photos and we can go from there, quite looking forward to this!!!

Lovely example my friend, real nice. Looks to me as though shes in great nick. Manual tran is a plus imo and the engine is the more desired one out of the range.

Price? not sure. I only buy cheap then fix up myself. I wouldn't put your one into the 'cheap' category

Thanks for that daz, what would you suggest though as a guide price, maybe for ebay or something ?

That is very very nice, auto trader with £1575 and haggle from there, also e30zone.net is a good site for e30. That its a very nice example!

Ian sounds about right. Sell it as a 'clean example'

Don't let that go for pennies mate. Shes bloody lovely. You turn up to one of our meets with her and I tell ya, you would fit in nicely.
