Passenger Seat Occupancy Sensor Light (Airbag Light)

hi everyone, long time no speak. hope all is well!!! i have purchased a plug in bypass to put out the light on the dash for the passenger airbag. but once i fitted it the light stayed on? i have also plugged my code finder in the double check if anything needed clearing but had no luck with that either. anyone else had this problem??

You need to reset the system before the light will go out !!
