Hi guys its time to flex the plastic, my tyres are nearly gone, its a 2010 f10 525d but on looking at the standard run flats they are about £100 more than a standard road tyre, has any one done this yet and to what effect, my query are was the handling as good, fast bends ect, Or was money saving false economy and a complete disaster. I do understand that most tyre makers tyres are suitable for purpose but not necessarily as replacements i look forward to any experiences you may have got

Although mine is an older 5 series,i ditched the run flats and havent regretted it,less road noise and long life from my personal experience.
