As some of you know i swapped the 320d for a 330ci (silly thing to do)

Anyway, need some opinions on my plans for it over the next 12 months.

Firstly im going to get the wing cleaned up and resprayed as it has a horrible rust scab.

Next is paint the engine bay white like the rest of the car as its currently blue and looks crap.

Then it starts to get expensive :o

Polybush all round, coil overs, Camber adjusters, BBS's, strut brace front and rear, lightened flywheel, Nitros, induction kit and exhaust.

Anything else i should be adding with the Nitros and flywheel?

I've a lot about remapping the 330 mate. Can justify the money for the little BHP gain.

Might be an option when all other mechanical mods have been put in place.

But it will defiantly be the last thing.

Tbh I'm not interested in more BHP, just want it to lay the power down better (flywheel), and be a but better handling.

Remap isnt just about adding BHP its about how the engine handles power. You can add all the gadgetries ya want, if the ECU doesn't know it's there, it wont use it efficiently.

N20 system puts ALOT of strain on an already not very modified engine. To benefit from that system, your going to need more than a lightened flywheel to justify such a step. Throttle body, Intake, pistons, Conrods, headers etcc.. etc.. will most likely all need upgrading to benefit from it (and deal with the HEAT!). Unless you literally pleasure yourself over 1/4 mile laptimes, I would stay away from N20 systems.

If ya REALLY wanna get hands on and be "Super Tuner GavlA", you can buy Supercharger/Turbo setups for your engine and would make a fun DIY project :D

I'd like to go supercharger but were talking a lot of cash.

But like I said, I'm not really interested in a faster car, just would like it to put the power don better and handle better.

As for the Nos, it would purely be for 1/4 lap times.

But yeah, reading into it Daz, there are a lot of engine mods I would have to do to help the car cope.
