stevepx Posted November 3, 2012 Posted November 3, 2012 Hi...Well after a rather expensive Alfa Romeo ownership I have decided to give BMW a go having never owned on of these cars before. My new ride, as of yesterday, is a very clean E46 4 door 330i SE which I am very pleased with having already clocked up over 300 miles driving it back from the north. Its covered 117k miles, not a spot of rust anywhere and the engine appears to be very strong, last service completed 3 years and only 8k miles ago.I guess I should be asking is there anything I should be looking out for? Are there any weak points I need to take care of? So far it appears to be a pretty good car..Many thanks one and all!! Quote
BigAl Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 Welcome Steve, Enjoy the forum, if the car was serviced 3 years ago, could well be worth changing oils and fluids, but if the car has been looked after, should serve you well. Quote
G4VHD Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 Give it a service mate all should be good.My 330ci is solid........now I changed clutch, flywheel, head gasket, all bushes!! 145k Quote
