Good evening,

I'm newbiee and was wondering if anybody knows anyone who can turn airbag lights off on my E46 if poss and give me any good advic on my bmw as its my first one.... Thanks Wayne

You need to take it to your local garage and ask the mechanic to reset it for you,a fiver/tenner in his hand should seal the deal. BUT when thats been done if the light still stays on it means you have a problem with your airbag system and it would need to get look at and properly repaired :)

Mine has been on since I bought my car. I bought a bypass unit from eBay which didn't do the job unfortunately. Such a common problem! But I agree with what Dave said :)

Yeah the falts are slip ring passengers seat mat. The wireing loom under the passengers seat and a fault with air bags and both seat belt pre tentioners

With the wire loom under drivers and passengers side there are falts with the block connectors so u can just replace them or cut the wires from the block and solder them back together but remember to take off the negative battery lead and wait for 30mins for all power to leave the system
