Bmw x1 2012 won't start
I recently had a problem with my bmw x1 2012, failed to start,fault code came up , got the foot control module and battery replacement, not even two days of driving the car won't start again and the engine light is on .mechanic is now saying it's the starter -

X3 2.0 automatic
Many thanks for the help I've hot the car booked in for a full health check but it seem that the transfer box oil as not been changed for nearly 3 years so I'm hoing to do that first to see if it helps -

X3 2.0 automatic
hi , I had very similar problem a while back, and after a lot of testing with vista, it turned out to be a front R/H wheel , speed/wheel sensor. when it all was happing lots of codes were coming up gearbox, diff front and back, transever box,plus many more, didn't look good, but there was one code that repeatedly came up at the top of the list, at this point it was becoming undriveable ,it just didn't seem that a wheel sensor could cause all these codes. So I went got two wheel speed sensor, replaced driver side front, the problem never came back, the sensor controls so many systems ,cleared all codes, happy days, I could have pulled the car apart for nothing, and got nowhere, except an empty wallet. hope this helps you or someone. -

Water leak at sharkfin aerial
Has anybody experienced water leakage passed the sharkfin aerial to roof joint face. -

105C thermostat replacement
As I understand the wiring diagrams and operation Item 9 on the thermostat housing is the sensor which sends its signal to the ECU for interpretation with information from the map sensor. Information from item 12 (1st drawing ) is also used to provide average temp across the cooling system. As far as I am aware the Thermostst is independent of the sensors and operated by expanding wax material internally
