Hi all, My car passed it's MOT a couple of weeks ago but I got an advisory about the offside rear tyre being worn down almost to limit on the inside edge. Whilst I was checking the tyre I noticed that the wheel arch clearance is roughly an inch or so less on the drivers side, than on the passenger side, any ideas why this would be? It can't be that serious or it would have failed the test. I'm puzzled!

perhaps the spring on that side is weaker than the other or different and the MOT man missed it?

Sorry a shot in the dark

Merry Christmas! :)

As above... Or maybe the rubber cup(s) which the springs sit in are worn?

"Hard" suspension bushes can cause irregular posture (unnoticeable though)!
