Hmm I am yet to own a Vert BMW but WILL one day as I absolutely love them!

If I had something to say on this situation, I would say that; If it didn't come factory, It will most likely be after market. If you can get a kit, it shouldn't be to difficult as the technology behind it is very simple. Tried looking around ebay for kits?

sometimes peope have it disabled though, as it can be annoying if its in your pocket and the button gets held down accidentally and your winows start to unwind... had that before

Yep.......I had the same issue with my Golf, id go off leaving it and then come back to find all of the windows open in the middle of the car park!!! grrrrr. I may have just found my answer to the convertible roof though. There is a little module you can buy from a website called mods4cars. I have just looked on ebay and somebody is selling one for £75. He claims its only a case of moving a few wires and an easy job!!! Meh........Im sure those were the words the same guy used when I spent hours fitting my bluetooth kit!

Try holding the "Unlock" button for 5+ secs, if it doesn't open the roof aswell as windows then u don't have the kit ! ;)
