Hi, an impulse purchase last year saw me come home with a 2001 330CI. I found it hard to confirm whether i paid good/bad money for it as they seem to vary wildly!.

It is a 2001 in midnight blue withfull beige electric leather seats and piano black inserts. Shes done 127,000 but has a full history (part BMW/part indy) and i am now the 4th owner from new. It has xenon lights (not sure if thats standard) and the usual electric toys. The bit that makes it stand out is it has a full genuine ac schnitzer body kit, wingmirrors and 18" alloys which make it look diferent to the run of the mill.

My question is are all the extra adding value or just potential desirability. If there are any traders here that can tell me what the cars really worth I would be interested. I'm looking to sell just want to know whether I beat them down to a good deal or got shafted!

ok will do once ive washed it! also if it was celebrity owned when new does this affect price?

Hi

Celebrity ownership is a werid one as it greatly depends upon the sales audience. For exacmple, I couldn't give a monkeys if my car was previously owned by a celebrity. The only way you will find out is by selling it via an auction and observing the interest

Ians right, get some piccies up bud ^_^

Sounds like an advert to me !!

Anyway, standard cars will always bring the better price/customer ;)

The main things people will look for is FSH, hpi clear, no accidents, complete paperwork, as Daz says, really could not see what difference who has owned the car before, In my opinion, only would make more money if it went in to a specialist auction, look forward to seeing the pics of your car.
