Does yours have the round socket under the bonnet? If yes I have one !!

Paper Clip

- OIL Service Reset requires pin 7 and 19 to be connected together for 3+ seconds

- INSPECTION Service Reset requires pin 7 and 19 to be closed for 10+ seconds

And get a magnifying glass cos them numbers are TINY !!

EuroCarParts do one for about a tenner. Can be used for all BMW's with the small or big round terminal under the bonnet.

The resistor or wire method works, but if you get it wrong, you can cause mucho damage.
