hi , ive just bought a E36 318ti compact 1995 , the alarm will arm and disarm without any problems but in either mode the siren is going continuely if you disconnect the battery leave a few minutes its ok apart from a very slight hum from the speaker , for now ive cut the speaker wire to stop this ,, can anyone help me , i either want to try and fix it or even disconnect it for good it is a genuine BMW alarm the fob only has 1 round button thanks

    My compact has an alarm fob with two buttons. One to lock and one to unlock.
