Think I need a lucky charm, My E46 m3 cs smg goes into a specialist tomorrow for a shaft seal replacement, this means taking the gear box away from the engine. So ive said without much thought or concept of cost change the clutch and fly wheel whilst its out!

Have i made a mistake or is it common sense? answers on a postcard please.

The current clutch is the original I believe which has done 68000miles I don't know what the life is on this clutch but last thing I would want is it to go later having been half way there

Prob around 100k on the M54 depending on how hard it's driven, I imagine the same on the S54.

But IMO wise choice mate
