Well im now car less for a few days, as i have dropped the 320d off at Newhall Sheffield for the Clutch and DMF change which will hopefully sort out the noise and vibration when using the clutch.

I havent used it for 2 weeks since i did the pads / discs and fluid and this morning i get two yellow warnings one on the brakes and a nice little yellow triangle which the book reckons its abs or dsc.

So another bit of expense to come my way by the sound of things.

So roll on later in the week and hopefully one fixed car. Wish i had brought from a dealer as how much i have had to spend on top, i could of got a good one.

The Labour charges will hammer you matey :(

Try and witness as much of the work as poss... Sometimes (it has been known) they just re-balance the DMF but charge for new !!

Mine judders if i dont give it enough beans when moving off all other times its fine. Its did this from when i bought it (20 months ago). Im not a fan of the DMF thing but cant help love the engine and MPGs its only the 320D. Hopefully ill not need to change it in the time i have the car. That said its pushing 85k now

Well the car is back, and its a lot better, mind you , the two warning lights were from the steering angle sensor, which they reset and lights are off at mo, the garage reckons its a non diy job and its about £300 to do :(, so im hoping that it was just a one off fault.

Also the garage advised me that have a crack in the centre pipe of my exhaust which is meant to be a common fault. Is that correct?

And i need to fix my pdc as when engaging reverse i get one long bleep then nothing, so do you have any ideas on that fault please?

Next job when i have got some money spare is to have the wheels refurbed and then the bonnet, wings and bumper resprayed, if you have any preferred firms that you would recommend in the Worksop/Sheffield/Doncaster area then let me know?
