my headlights are the yellowish (normal) lights and seriously you can tell the difference at night. My wifes range rover has got xenons and they truly make things clearly visible.

have any of you lot upgraded your bulbs? if so which ones are to go for?

Are proper xenon headlights easy to fit? (plug and play or do you have to mess around with things like ''ballasts'')

any ideas?

thanks

Mine has Xenon/HID lamps... They come in kit form and in pairs... You'll only ever need one pair as they light the night as if it was daytime lol

Last much longer than filament bulbs ;)

Well worth it and not expensive either...

Just get the beam direction spot on or you'll upset some Vauxhall drivers :P

Is this to put on the existing light? Sorry if I sound stupid but I know f*k all about xenons. One guy told me you can put bulbs in which produce a white light (like a fake xenon lol) and one goes you need to fit a ballast kit thing which powers the xenon lights.

Someone explain lol.

These yellow lights should of been factory xenons

I have used Ring Xenon max 100% brighter, currently using Ring Xtreme blue 50% brighter (went for these to try and match up to my led sidelights and door handle lights). Both are brighter and a big improvement over the standard bulbs, are road legal but don't look as good as Xenons. Ring has recently brought out Xenon ultimas 120% brighter, not tried these tho

2 ways to do this.

1: Get the 'xenon style' bulbs, which are normal halogen bulbs with a blue tint on them which give a 'whiter light' (This will never look xenon though and normally these are in higher wattages than OEM which is 55w, so they tend to either melt the bulb holders or they blow out quite regularly)

2: Fit a Canbus compatible HID kit. Colour temp 4300k/5000k for OEM look - this will give you alot more light and a better look.

PM me if you want to discuss further. :)
