The owners manual is useless. It doesn't state the grade and type just BMW Longlife - 01, BMW Longlife - 01 FE or BMW Longlife - 04. Alternatively BMW Longlife - 98, or ACEA A3. A quality 5/30 Fully Synthetic should be fine.1 point
