If your oil is at max when cold it may be a little high when hot ? as you say what to do the only way I know to let oil out is the drain plug, not very helpful sorry. The brake pad warning may take much longer than 470 odd miles that is my experience, as it depends on your driving style and what sort of trips you do, 200 miles up or down the M1 wont wear the brakes much.1 point
