I had a shut down of the ews after I flattened the battery with ignition on.. immobiliser lock out with no crank... I have bypassed the ews by jumpimg the 2 large wires... now I have cranking but no spark.. anyone have any pointers please.

can someone tell me how to disconnect the yellow connector plug from the ews plastic box on my 1997 318ti ? this has got me stumped.

Hello all I just joined the club and it looks great. I am hoping to solve a perplexing problem with my little & much loved 318ti.. I left the ignition switch on and completely flattened the battery (dumb).. After fully charging it and installing... when i turn the key to start... nothing happens. Everything else works fine . but the starter is dead as a dodo...are there any fuses or componants like the starter solenoid that could have been damaged by draining the battery? I am stumped big time on this. All help greatly appreciated.
