Thanks DMW. Would this effect power? Would it have been removed as part of a recall? Its an 05 plate but has spent most of its life parked or short trip as its on just done 20k miles (genuine) from new from a BMW dealer in Croydon. Seems odd that it looks to have had something there and now its not. Unless they have used it as a donor part for another car and by-passed my one. :blink:

Hi, I have a BMW 1 series 118i petrol and have just noticed that it looks like something has been removed from the engine compartment but can't seem to find an answer on the WEB. Any advise?
