    Thanks although I was hoping to get some actual figures from 316ti Compact owners rather that guesstimations - if anyone can help, please do!

    Hi, I'm thinking of buying a 316ti Compact. I have a 406 Coupe 2.2Hdi at the moment which returns me about 41mpg but I've always quite fancied a 3 series Compact. Official figures report 40.9 but know official figures are usually crap so can anyone give me an idea of mpg from experience for a 316ti compact?? Cheers, Dave
