Can any1 help the interiornlights works but the 2 side 1s wont, ive changed the bulbs and still no joy , do they run off separate fuse also the bulb in the boot that doesnt work after changing the bulb.

i know a big job but im in no rush to get it on the road so can take my time and give it some tender loving care. Plus when done will look so nice under the bonnet as well as outside i hope.

Had my bmw for a week ive taken the seats and dashboard out cleaned them up and the switches. But was thinking as im trying to get it to its best do i take the engine out clean it and the bay. Also when out can change the gaskets and do whatever else needs doing. What do people think.

well put my seats back yesterday and half of my dash day off today from the car as ive got long day in work but am off tomorrow so will carry on and put some pics up. But myself think its looking good and im happy with it, just cant wait till its finished and i can have it on the road, just waiting for my new gear knob and gaiter to arrive in the next day or two.

steam cleaned my seats today coming clean nicely do it again tomorrow then they will be done. Also sprayed all the door cards and centre consoles and the dashboard back to black.

ive just brought my 1st bmw which is a e36 and i think its beautiful i love it and wouldnt change it.

removed the whole of the centre console and the dash and sprayed them all black again cleaned all the switches so hope they all work when put back in ha ha ha ordered a new leather gear knob today then all needis the gearstick gater and leather handbrake handle which will be coming this week.

took the passenger door apart tonite cant see any damage to the mechanism but when you put the window doen the window drops off to 1 side but cant see y, were would i start looking can any1 help please

save starting new topic ill just this 1 to let people know how im getting on. rub the bit of rust down from the back arch today and primed it. Looks like ill have to hire a steam cleaner to do the interior so that will be sunday, a full day off work to work on my baby.

Brought my 1st bmw sat the woman said that she disconnected the windows as there was a clip broken on both sides of the car so i took the door cards off yesterday and this is what i found. So the ? is do they need welding or is it better to get new 1s and is it a easy job.

Has any1 got holidays booked or weekend away. Ill start im off to kent for the weekend the 1st week off sept, visit family and look at places to move to next yr, as i have family all over the kent area.

well after getting my car on sat and after the woman saying that there are clips missing in the windows that y they pop out of the runners, i took the doors apart after work to find out its not clips but some off the mechanism has split. So not sure if to weld back together or are they easy to take off the door and put new 1s on.

thanks for the replys will be doing it at the weekend then its hunt down headlight switch, im on a misson to get it back to showroom condition again inside and out so hopfully u wont get fed up with the ?s i mite ask.
