  1. I removed the driver’s side a-pillar in my 2013 320i to make sure the sunroof drainage tubes weren’t leaking behind them. As easy as they are to get off, what a pain to put back on. I ordered new plastic retainers because both broke. Does anyone have any pointers for getting it back on? I fought with it for an hour with no luck whatsoever.
  2. Can you guys tell me the best place to order a lower window cowl molding for a 2013 BMW 320i? Mine is super dry rotted and I’m getting water in my driver’s side floor board. I checked the sunroof water tubes and they seem to work well. I also ran water on the outside of drivers door to see if it was the door vapor barrier but didn’t notice anything out of the ordinary. The cowl is the only obvious thing that looks bad.
  3. I’m new to the forum as well as to BMW automobiles in general. I just purchased a 2013 BMW 320i Xdrive with just under 57,000 miles for my son as his first car. Looking at service records the timing chain, valve cover gasket, oil pan gasket, brakes, and rotors were replaced around 45,000 miles. Are there any common issues these cars tend to have that I need to be aware of? The only thing I’ve found is one of the reverse light housings is broken on the side next to the tail light. A common problem if you don’t remove the housing correctly from what I’ve read. Feel free to give me any advice or info I may need to know.
