Hi Greydog, Thanks for welcome. The how too's I've found all refer to turning the key. I've given it a try anyway, turn on off (as in position 1 with key) holding unlock then pressing the lock button, no joy. Yet to find anything for push button start tbh. Lee

First post, just bought a 2019 1 series sport. Replaced the key fob battery as requested, but the key still doesn't work for unlocking/locking car. It's still asking me to replace the battery, read this goes after a few cycles of locking and unlocking. Locks/unlocks fine on mybmw app. Does the Key need resinking, not sure how long it would have been flat for? TIA
