I have a 2002 BMW 530I. My wife was driving one night and a water hose busted it ran hot for a short time. The car was in worse condition than it appeared at the time of purchase. But she got water back in it plus oil. Well it still would crank. I got it towed to my house. My first thought was the head gasket, but the oil was clear. So I noticed the head cover gasket busted so I replaced. I also replaced the plugs and coil ok. I’ve checked the fuel filter and the intake gasket among other things inside and out. I’m stumped I’m hoping someone can help with ideas or the answer to it.
