  1. Well said Jas :)
  2. Never had an auto and can't say I would want one! It's manual for me :)
  3. Oh I will don't worry! The main point of my topic was for other people's thoughts or experiences really!
  4. Hmm, I'm doubting the rods now Darren as I have no way of heating them up!
  5. Sorry guys but I need a rant. And instead of putting it on Facebook like most saddo's, i thought I would vent on here. What on earth is everyone's problem with bmw's? The amount of stick I get because I drive a BMW is unreal! "Oh you drive a BMW? Must drive like a tw!t then" Even people who don't even have a license seem to class BMW's as rubbish cars, or ugly. Now I know that everyone has the right to their own opinion but why does it seem to be such a big deal? I have a clean license, indicate and don't cut people up. Yes I like to have fun when driving my car every now & again but don't people who drive Mazda's, Fords or Citreons? Don't even get me started on the amount of people that comment on my car being yellow, and not in a good way. It really winds me up. I couldn't care if you don't like the shape or colour of my car, it puts a smile on my face & that's all that matters. Does anyone else ever get comments along these lines? Feeling rather !Removed! now after some horrible comments on facebook! Char x
  6. Hey Mike, as far as I'm aware Becca, Jac & Jas will be at the pub. Maybe Gav & Martin too, not sure on those two? I'm unfortunately not going to make it though.. Had to bail out my little brother financially so I have no money until Tuesday. But I hope you all have a lovely day! Hoping to meet you all at Santa Pod though! :)
  7. Will be getting a garage to do the cables for that reason Jack. Thanks :)
  8. Welcome :)
  9. I think it's one bolt for the rod ends so hopefully I'll get it off. But thanks for the heads up! All I need a garage for will be handbrake cables and tracking once I've fitted the rod ends. I do love doing the work myself (with a little help!) as it allows me to learn more, but sometimes it can be more hassle than its worth!
  10. Oh okay. My other half is at Brooke's doing Motorsport Technology :)
  11. Oxford or Brookes?
  12. Will do Steve :)
  13. So I need my hand break shoes & track rod ends done. Bought all the parts from euros & phoned around garages for estimates. Now call me tight, but I am not paying £240 for something that can be done on a driveway! Therefore I'm gonna give it a go. So has anyone got any tips or advice that may make this job easier? Thanks!
  14. Happy birthday!
  15. Welcome :)
  16. Hello! :)
  17. It's still going ahead Dave :) But are there anymore takers for this? Come on guys! :)
  18. Thanks Jas :)
  19. Hello :)
