So I've bought some new gaiters for my car and I admit, I'm too scared to fit them LOL! I've tried to get my current ones off and had no luck so far so googled it and other forums have made comments about gaining black eyes and broken noses?! I know that apparently I need to "straddle" the centre console and pull but I'm not up for an injury.. Any ideas?
Ian - Yes someone towed it away as it wasn't there when I drove home that day. He had a phone call from the police today who just wanted to know why it was abandoned. He also had a phone call from the seller who is apparently genuinely sorry and is going to help. My word today is FAMILY - My dad has pneumonia as well as my two year old sister, living 40 miles away I feel hopeless :(
DISHONESTY - Because some evil f*uckwit sold my other half a busted car which he had to abandon on a motorway and walk home. Meaning we are out of pocket at such a difficult time as it is.
I wasn't push starting it. It needs a new bottom end. Boyf has already bought a new engine which is currently being built in Birmingham. But his turbo has come away from the manifold. However the car is so low we couldn't get my jack underneath it. But because it wouldn't start I had to push it up my drive way and roll it back down onto some planks of wood. Then had to remove all the front bumper anyway. We are now half way through and can't get the last bolt off because the power steering pump is in the way. Can't disconnect the power steering pump because we can't get the bolts off the piping. Shoot me now!
LOL! If only haha. Toyota GT Turbo. And where I've pulled a muscle down my ribs from pushing it on my own, I'm having to drive my bm like a learner. Shuffle round corners!
PAIN - I have spent the last two days helping my other half fix his GT. Pushed it up hill, fallen over, cuts, bruises, blood, tears. You name it! Aaaaand it's still not running :(
