  1. Hi John....welcome to the Forum Hope you find a cheap solution to the coolant leak It could well be AirCon discharge as around this time of year there would be a huge amount of condensation build up inside and if the AirCon is set to recirculate then there is every likelihood that it could be that. Let us know how you get on with it Cheers, Trevor
  2. Hi Carl....welcome to the Forum Good luck with the purchase, would only advise that there is a decent service history with the car and that any revisions have been carried out over time. Good to have you onboard and post up some pics of the new Bimmer when you get it. Cheers . Trevor
  3. How long did it take you to replace the seal ?
  4. Personally I have never seen this occur before on a PAS pump but looking at the bolts that are used on the other pump (other forum post link) then I'm not surprised. If they are to secure a housing onto another component then they should have a shoulder along the top half of the bolt...if you use the type in the picture then they are already weakened with cutting the thread along the whole length....Wrong Bolts! Would be very interested to hear the outcome of this one.....you certainly have a guardian angel watching over you Andy.
  5. Hi Dan...welcome to the Forum I have not experienced this fault before but think if you have been over the rear brakes then I think I would then go to the handbrake lever area and see if there is something amiss there....although not sure what you may find but has to be worth checking I guess. Let us know what you find cheers . Trevor
